Committee for Equity and Inclusion Arts Access Initiative

The University of Oregon School of Music and Dance is proud to present CEI’s Art Access Initiative, an innovative program from SOMD’s Committee of Equity and Inclusion aimed at enriching the student experience through the power of music and dance.

This initiative provides free concert opportunities exclusively for SOMD students. These concerts showcase premiere performing arts organizations in Eugene and Portland, offering students access to world-class performances and artists.

How to Participate

  1. Sign Up Online: Visit the link below to register.

2. Tickets by Raffle: Tickets will be distributed through a raffle system to ensure fair access. Sign up by the deadline to enter the drawing.

3. One Opportunity Per Student: To allow as many students as possible to participate, each student may only win tickets to one concert per season.

4. Tickets at Will Call: In most cases, tickets will be available for pick-up at will call on the day of the event.

5. Show Your UO ID: Bring your UO student ID to pick up your tickets and gain entry.

The Art Access Initiative is part of CEI’s mission to ensure that the arts remain accessible and inclusive for all students. By attending these concerts, SOMD students gain not only artistic inspiration but also a deeper understanding of music’s transformative potential.
